Description:
Our main character awakens in a mysterious forest. He has no idea how he got here or how where he actually is. But an elf finds him and helps him. The elf explain how our hero is in a magical realm, an alternate world divided into two factions. There are humans and demihumans. With a little nudge, you will complete various tasks that will give you an idea of your past. You also have a chance to indulge in various romantic relationships with mystical beings. Remember to make your choices wisely because they will affect your fate and your future in this world. Not to worry though, there are some steamy fuck sessions.

Well, we are accepting this people speak English, in that alien fantasy world. Why not accept they know what DNA is? Let's say there is a translation magic going own. They have the concept of DNA, obtained by divination spells, or something close enough. And the translation spell is making it sound to main character (and us) as "DNA".

Like ReplyKittymeow, I admit, it is not according to expectation. However, yes, DIVINATION magic is a underestimated kind of magic. Making the right questions you should reach the same knowlegde scientific experiments provide. Only faster and without risk of being wrong. I was cooking a Fantasy setting for a book (never finished book). Place is called Sharitarn, uses that notion.
