Like ReplyWarhero, I know nothing about coding, but I spent a few hours online and found a solution to the save/load issue. The problem with the saves issue comes from a coding mistake in the.js manager file. If you simply copy and paste the code below, you will be able to save and load, but there is a catch. Since we are not the owners of the web source, every time we refresh the page, we have to redo the steps below again.
Like ReplyWarhero, But don't worry, the saves will be saved in your local storage. Just redo the steps, and the saves will reappear. Save in slots 1 and below (,2,3,4,...). Don't rely on the auto-save, since that one will be lost and won't appear. If we want a permanent solution, the owner of the source for this game has to change the code. So share this information and make sure it gets to him or her somehow.

Like ReplyAlex, from Arenfield, go north into forest. On the first forest screen you walk into, check the area on the left side. Not the exit on the left side, but right before, check the trees. You will find a secret path. Then go up through the path and you will find a cottage. Go into the cottage and check everything, eventually the story will play.

If you mean for unzipping the file, you can just get 7zip, which you can easily find online for free; that's what I use, and it has always worked, for unzipping the downloaded file.

You can always download the game for free from the Patreon page, it's not very big, and saves work fine that way. Chyos is much too busy with game development to fix the problem created by the Gamcore uploader.

Like ReplyReetus, the ring of kate is in the first bench on top of kate where she is waiting just click on the bench from all directions you will find it 2 the bandits is when you enter in the forest go right then up till the end there is a river you should move a log to cross the river with muscles lvl but you should activate the stone the 3 locations one is on right river there is a small passage that is blocked in the end and there is one upper right of the tower where you hunt for animals with father

Like ReplyWhateva, it can indeed get a bit grindy building up the affection and corruption. For the issue with rest, that is by design. However, the constitution talent helps deal with rest, so if you build up the constitution talent, that should help, as it will start to check every action against constitution talent to decide if rest is used or not.

Like Replymartynskol, after downloading the zip file, you have to use an extracter program to extract the contents. You can use WinZip or 7zip, 7zip is the free one. As long as you have 7zip installed, then go to your download of ASWS, right click it, and then choose "Extract" or "Extract Here" to extract the game from the zip file. After it extracts, you can go to the game folder and double click the exe file to start the game.

Like ReplyAbue, experience is also gained by completing quests, up to 2000. Once you get to cultists and spiders a lot more experience from fighting. I like the slower leveling though, game has 20+ female characters each with multiple animations, a lot more to come, game will be big and go on for years in development. Leveling too much early would detract from the long game.

I might optimize for that in the future but the client version runs just fine. So until this is optimized for web use the dl version (which you can find easily with google)
