The grind to level up isn't entertaining without "newbie gains" to make the fighting less repetitive, no scripted events to introduce characters beyond the intro makes the world flat, and the excessive price to acquire potions and equipment is unmotivating. The active clock only makes it worse, because it adds a sense of pressure to the player that only highlights the lack of progress being made

While the plot and gist of the game is kind of appealing, the grind is unreasonable and drags on forever, overshadowing some of the good elements of the game. If the dev can make the grind more reasonable this game is better than a lot of the slop you'll find on this website. Overall, it's a solid 6.5/10.
