Combat in general is almost impossible to properly plan for without figuring out how to recruit an ally, and the guards are a harder version of the forest bandits, with the same strategies to overcome them.

Jerkfree, The save restrictions are browser side not web site side your computer browser is limiting how much you can save to circumvent this gamcore allows you to import and export save files so you can clear your cookies and have more room for new saves and games start a gamcore folder and inside of that folder make a folder for each game you play once you're done ATM the top left corner allows you to export your save. export it and put it in its game folder you made.
