My main complaint outside of potential difficulty is the general move speed. Even with always dash, the speed is too slow for the size of the maps. As for combat, lvl1 relies heavily on dodging, and the nature of dodge makes it really hard to tell if upping AC is really helping. I have reached lvl2 with little issue (by beating the goblin captain), and yet the minotaur seems like it hits a bit too hard, with an extra 3 points of AC across the 3 unlikely to help. cont. below.
Like ReplyIf beating the minotaur is supposed to happen by recruiting a new party member, the game does little to tell the player that, and the slow speed previously complained about dissuades players from wandering too far from the first town. I'd recommend doing more to tell the player how their AC is helping: if it is high enough show the player an attack landing with 0 damage, reserving misses for luck-based instances. The player cant see the dice being rolled, nor the outcome of the dice.
Like ReplyThe final issue with AC is that it does not seem to tie into defense in the way it would in other video games. If an attack hits, it does damage based solely off the unseen dice roll, all AC does is affect chance to hit. With no defense stat, even basic combat feels like it is completely random. Maybe that works on table top, where a DM can adapt and fudge dice or the players can find a way out without battle, but in a video game with a fixed path OfBarriersThat MUST BeOvercomeToProgress,JustNo
Like ReplyIf money is the answer to the problem, it is a bit ridiculous to expect the player to grind 2k+ just to get gear powerful enough to survive.

Like ReplyBlackHoodGames, Did I stuff up the questline by beating the Level 10 Gnoll dungeon boss before recruiting Ideth. As it hasn't updated after I've recruited her. Still saying now I can Explore Frithuie Keep. Not only have I explored it but leared it out no more zombie, skeletons or ghosts

Going in the afternoon to the maid she still states dont know what you are talking about. super hard to get stats up or protect against enemies as very little gold and not enough HP. The characters need to be given enough HP and MP from the beginning to at least have a chance for grind to increase stats. First floor dungeon and they can kill the two girls with one hit each, barely any gold to buy supplies or armour. Cant save either

Like ReplyI'm trying to do the food delivery quest. When I try to get the food from the barmaid, she says she doesn't know what I'm talking about. Also, I don't know why the guild master doesn't tell you about the job board the first time you meet, when you're talking about being an adventurer. I went into the dungeon before I was told I needed the quest from the guild.
