By the 70s virtually all gas pumps looked mostly modern and square but had mechanical dials for the numbers instead of a digital display. Soda machines looked pretty much the same as now, and the price for a soda sure as hell wasn't 5 cents. Oil in cans was phased out in the 80s and completely gone by the 90s. Typical price for a soda from a vending machine was 50 cents. WTF.
