The newest update [0.995] has mostly fixed it but effected save files are still effected, and the problem sometimes starts again after a crash. Since skipping makes the game more likely to crash fixing the problem is a vicious cycle... There should definitely be a way to start the game at a later point and just input a few key choices like low or high corruption.

I'm not even sure if it's finished or not because every time I think it's almost over it just keeps going. The top of my notes is that it could use more player agency and research into how some of the abilities could/should work since I constantly feel like I'm 2-10 steps ahead of the MC.

The combat and the mechanics really make you think and worry about the consequences, it feels like a skillful gameplay even if it's just selecting options. The better example is the fight against Valvran, 3 specific choices to win the fight, frustrating, but new and really exciting, recommend doing difficult bosses more.

Seriously, I was grinning like a mad lad when saw our character land the first of this epic attack ! And finally, I loved the speech about not needing an evolution. No need for deux ex machina, no need for power up. Just the sweat and grit of everything our character has go through. This fight is my favorite moment of the game.

ONce you reach a certain point, specifically after spending the night with the three goth girl musicians, the game loops back to almost all the way to the beginning of the game.
