Actually turn on Hit Area in the options to make Trap Floor enemies easier to see and to help with getting closer to Succubi and the bosses. It may also help to know what your character's hit area is, like that it's narrower than her body, when crouching it's wider but her head doesn't count, and when jumping, anything lower than the top of her knees doesn't count.
Some of the enemies are also kind of ridiculous. How close you have to get to Succubi to hit them (and the timing involved) is too strict. If a "Crab Machine" enemy also shows up below and near a Succubus, then you can't really get past without a bomb before more enemies overwhelm you. The Green orb enemies can't really be kicked and are hard to dodge when with other enemies. The Trap Floor enemy coloring is hardly noticeable.
So bombs can't be used to escape unlike the newer games. That might be reasonable for the first part of the game, but the "True Game" harder levels could really use that feature. I mean on normal difficulty, True Game Stage 5 and the final boss feel more like "hell" than "normal". Literally, it's much harder than getting 10,000 points in hell.
Why the fuck isn't this downloadable? Put a damn downloadable link in the page source that actually allows for a download with the character there. Not that hard to do website devs!
Somethings up with this game. Lately it keeps making my keys stick. I mean, I start the game and it's either my left key or my down key the keep her in place. I can't move her. Plz help.
