Like Reply"choose your starting boons" don't seems to be working. And the math feels somewhat inconsistent anyway. Do I have 5 points to build my character? If so, and each boon costs 1 point, I could get all the boons in that initial page and still have 1 point to spare, right? Is that intentional?
Like ReplyCorvo Branco, I'm pretty sure they are all locked until you get your first ending. Not the best design, admittedly, but they work after.
Like ReplyCorvo Branco, There is a bit more to it than first appears. Need to earn achievements. Each achievement gives you a certain number of perk points, which you then spend on perks. the 0/5 is an indication and limitation on the amount of perks you can bring into any particular run, as there are more than 5 to choose from and some use more than 1 of those points cap.
Like ReplyOnce a run is started, open the inventory, find the codex button, and cross-reference the challenges and blessings to see unlock conditions and which challenges give what number of perk points (black is unearned, white is obtained, same symbol in side bar shows unspent).
