Animation is good, but LIMITED TO CUT SCENES, whereas running around in the game world is no more exciting than in 2D RPGmaker - so what do you gain?

Like Replylock, CTRL+/- is just browser zoom, it helps but it's not the same as fullscreen. Fullscreen means that the browser allows the game to cover the entire screen with its content (and ONLY that content). This is a dedicated function that has to be requested via javascript.
